Imagine this: You’ve gathered your suitcase, met your private driver waiting for your arrival, gotten driven to the jungle and the lush green rice fields to the Moon Gate of Basundari Retreat Centre which literally translates to “The Grace of Mother Earth” in the village of Ubud, Bali. As you cross the threshold of the moon gate leaving your world to enter the lush grounds of Basunadari, you are embraced the calming energy of the location, staff and fellow adventurers. Your senses will be ignited by the multidimensional compound. Basundari will be exclusively ours for the entire trip! Nature and the center are one here. Each suite has expansive glass sliding doors that allow you to be as free as you wish. There are three pools, a meditation/movement space, community kitchen and dining hall and unique pockets of seating for small group and individual reflections to explore. Oh, and yes! Each suite has their own bathroom and air conditioning unit.
Did you know that Ubud is known as the artful and spiritual heartbeat of Bali? Neither did I until I did some research. It’s perfect for the intention of this retreat! Here is a little more information on Ubud: located in the uplands of Bali, Indonesia, it’s known as a center for traditional crafts and dance. The surrounding Ubud District’s rainforest and terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes. Ancient holy sites include the intricately carved Goa Gajah (“Elephant Cave”) and Gunung Kawi, with its rock-cut shrines. Discover more here.
Intention for the Retreat
Living a heart centered life is more than just an intention, it can be a practice you can learn and integrate. During this 8 day retreat, you will be guided through the four chambers of your heart, reawaken your intuition and deepen the connection with your Soul surrounded by lush tropical greens and fellow adventurers. We will journey through the beautiful landscape of Bali, have daily yoga, stretching, and meditations, experience the luxurious spa treatments, indulge in fresh, healthy local cuisine and day trip adventures. Come nourish your mind, body and soul. All genders are welcome.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at registration. 50% remaining balance due April 10, 2023. Final balance due on June 10, 2023.

Kundalini is a private room that becomes full of Bali sunlight! It is like stepping into a ray of love. This has been deemed to have the best balcony for sunsets at the resort.

Raja is perfect for those who like to have a beautiful sunrise, a pool view and a daybed to daydream during your downtime.
JNANA (SOLD)
Jnana is perfect for those who like to be the closest to the main pool. Windows abound!
VILLA MEWA (SOLD)
Villa Mewa us perfect for those who get energized by socializing with people. (Nearby the ice bath, sauna, walk out to pool and kitchen and community space.)

Tantra is perfect for those who love sitting on the balcony overlooking the luscious rice field. (Steps away from the private yoga and meditation deck.)

Daily interactive teachings and mindfulness exercises (60-90 minute interactive classes) on the Warrior Heart Practice and the Power of Compassion with Caitlin.
